The Future Looks Bright! Liverpool Loanee Shows Insane Skill While Playing for Barnsley
There may be a number of skillful players at Anfield at the moment, but the likes of Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho may well be looking over their shoulder after 20-year-old Ryan Kent made headlines last weekend for his insane ball control whilst playing for loan club Barnsley.
The winger has been with the Reds since 2003 and having come through the club's youth academy - he is currently gaining some valuable first team football with the Championship side.
Having seen his parent club claim bragging rights with a 3-1 victory over Everton in Saturday's Merseyside derby, Kent produced a moment of magic of his own to rival Coutinho, who of course, scored one of the goals of the weekend against the Toffees.
Whilst playing for Barnsley in Saturday's fixture with Sheffield Wednesday, Kent produced a stunning piece of skill to beat two opposition players out on the touchline, having found himself with almost nowhere to go.
On the evidence of this video, many Liverpool fans may well be keeping a close eye on this youngster in what remains of the Championship season, as he looks to have a bright future in the game if he possesses skill like that.
