Swansea boss Paul Clement is keen on Barnsley full-back Andy Yiadom, but is unwilling to pay above £500k for the former Ghana international, according to The Sun.

However, the South Yorkshire club may face a struggle to keep hold of their best players this summer and are looking for a figure in the region of £2million for the former Barnet skipper.

According to reports, the Swans may be willing to add Scottish striker Oliver McBurnie to the deal either on a season-long loan or as a straight swap in order to bring Yiadom to the Liberty Stadium next season.

Yiadom was released on a free by Barnet last year and joined the Tykes, establishing himself as one of the Championship’s most highly rated full-backs.

The former Hayes and Yeading defender made 33 appearances for Barnsley last season, as his side finished in 14th place in the league.

The 25-year-old was capped three times by England C, but was called up by Ghana for the African Cup of Nations in January this year.

Since his international call up, Yiadom has been capped twice by the Black Stars, making his debut in a 1-0 defeat to Egypt, who ended the competition as finalists.
