Inter Milan have agreed terms with 19-year-old Caen winger Yann Karamoh and are now negotiating a deal with the French Ligue 1 team, according to Premium Sport. The deal is expected to be worth €10m.

Karamoh has a year left on his contract with Caen, who have previously rejected bids of €3m and €6m for the starlet from the Italian club.

Last season, Karamoh scored five goals and completed four assists as he played a crucial role in maintaining Caen's Ligue 1 status as they successfully fought against relegation. He also played twice within France's under-21 squad as he progressed from the under-19s.

He had previously been rumoured to be the subject of a bidding war between West Ham and Red Bull Leipzig. West Ham manager Slaven Bilic had been impressed with his attacking versatility, with his ability to play on both the left and right wings and also as centre forward.

Southampton and Newcastle United are both also interested in buying Karamoh's services, with the Saints looking to be Inter's main rivals for the player

In a recent interview with Goal he outlined what he was looking for in a potential new club.

He said: "If I had the choice, I would go to a club where I would play... I want to go to a club where I could continue to evolve to mature in two or three years".

Inter Milan's already strong attack, featuring Stevan Jovetic and Mauro Icardi, could limit his first team opportunities should the transfer be completed.
