For a few weeks now, Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic has been touted for a move to Manchester United, although talks have supposedly stalled as the two parties can not agree upon a suitable figure for the winger.

Inter's boss Luciano Spalletti has no real intention of selling the Croatian international, however the former AS Roma manager - speaking at a media conference, via Four Four Two - claims that the 28-year-old could head for pastures new if an offer comes in to which the Serie A outfit are 'satisfied' with, a statement which could ready Jose Mourinho for one last substantial bid for his signature.

"He is a fantastic player and if his future is totally up to me, I will definitely keep him," he claimed.

"However, if an offer comes and the club are satisfied with the money, which will be used to invest in and strengthen the team, he could leave."

Competing with fierce city rivals AC Milan next term is sure to be top of the Nerazzurri's agenda for the coming campaign and acquiring players as well as maintaining the current fold will be of paramount importance if they're to do so.

The sought-after winger has been involved in Inter's pre-season preparations to date, starting for the club during their 1-1 draw with the Bundesliga's FC Schalke 04 on Friday.

Perisic was one of Inter's most fruitful attacking outlets last term, netting 12 goals and offering 11 assists for his teammates, a record which Spalletti will urge the attacker to better next season, if he can stave off the Red Devils' advances for now, that is.
