Borussia Dortmund are reportedly willing to trigger Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams's €50m release clause before the transfer deadline.

Following Ousmane Dembele’s move to Barcelona, the Bundesliga outfit are understood to be prepared to part with a significant chunk of the €105m they received for the 20-year-old, with Williams said to be firmly on their radar.

According to Spanish reports from Diario AS, via Football Espana, Dortmund have cash to burn and could be set to turn their attention to the 23-year-old who has scored 26 goals in 123 competitive appearances for Athletic Bilbao.

However, having signed a new contract at the San Mames last year, Williams is said to be content at Bilbao and has no intentions of forcing his way out of the club.

He told Macra in January: "I have always said, and I maintain, that I am where I want to be and that I am very happy in Bilbao.

"I do not want a change of pace, my family is very comfortable here, my teammates are happy with me and I am very happy to be with them. My first choice will always be Athletic.

"I am where I want to be and also very happy. Having a contract [until 2021] gives stability but I am not satisfied with what I have achieved. I always aspire to have more. I want more renewals [with Athletic] to come in the future."

Since making his debut for Athletic Bilbao in December 2015, the Spanish forward has earned international call-ups for both the Under-21 and senior side.
