Juventus are looking to bolster their already deep squad with the acquisition of two young and exciting prospects.

Juventus’ monopoly of Serie A is under serious threat from Napoli this season and Juventus are keen to ensure that this doesn’t happen. Juventus are currently 3rd in the table after 11 games with 28 points, but Inter Milan and Napoli are above them on 29 and 31 points respectfully.

Juventus had already been linked with a move for Cagliari youngster Nicola Barella, according to Calciomercato, and now they have a strong interest in club teammate and North Korean starlet Han Kwang-Song. The 19-year-old has had a red-hot start to the season, bagging six goals in 11 games for loan club Perugia. Interest in him continues to grow exponentially with interest from both the Milan clubs being noted.

In the case of Barella, he has continued his fine progression with Cagliari and has already netted twice this season. Juve would be looking to bring him in to add an element of youth to what is a very experienced midfield core and would have one eye on the future with this acquisition.

With the quality of the squad that Juventus possess, there is no doubt that they will be expecting to finish atop the Serie A table. But with the way Napoli are currently playing and the resurgence of Inter Milan, the task could prove to be much harder than those of yesteryear.
