This Sunday, Juventus fans could welcome new and old acquaintances at Allianz Stadium, as a few injured players might finally be ready to return.

The Old Lady will face off with newly-promoted Benevento in an attempt to brace Napoli and Inter at the top of the Serie A table and they will probably need more fresh energies in order to do so.

For this reason, supporters will be happy to finally assist to the debut of one of Juventus' latest summer signing, Benedikt Howedes.

The German defender has joined the Turin side from Schalke 04 in August, but has since been stuck on the bench due to two consecutive set-backs that procrastinated his debut in black-and-white.

However, Tuttosport report that his dramatic thigh injury should be finally healed and that manager Massimiliano Allegri is tempted to feature him on Sunday afternoon.

The Allianz Stadium will also soon cheer the return of Croatian talent Marco Pjaca, the young striker who joined the club last year but has been recovering from a painful injury to the knee ligaments ever since the spring.

His long time away from the pitch is thought to be about to end as Pjaca has shown impressive signs of wellbeing during Juventus' friendly training match this week.

The Croatian not only seemed fit and ready to return but also managed to score two goals, and will make the first step towards a definitive comeback to the team next week when he will play with Juventus' youth side.

A good performance with them could be the green light that he is waiting for, which would allow him to finally make his return to the first team against either Sampdoria or Crotone.
