Arsenal are reportedly plotting a move for Barcelona all-rounder Rafinha, in the event of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez leaving the club.
The 24-year-old has often been tipped to become part of Barcelona's starting eleven, but a career constantly plagued by injury has seen him dip in and out of first team action over recent seasons.
Registering seven goals and five assists in 26 appearances last season, his performances were often lauded by Barca fans.
However, having been ruled out since last April with a meniscus injury, Rafinha is still battling to be match fit, with a return expected at the end of November.
Despite this, there is obviously huge potential still to be unlocked by the young Brazilian, and Arsene Wenger could look to move for the midfielder as a replacement for either Ozil or Sanchez according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, although Rafinha would most likely fit into the role that Ozil currently occupies.
Both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez's contracts run out at the end of this season. The German's future is still uncertain, with links to Manchester United and Inter Milan frequently being reported, while Alexis Sanchez's failed move to Manchester City in the summer is likely to be completed in either January, or the end of the season.
