Switzerland travels to Belfast on Thursday for the first leg of a World Cup playoff against Northern Ireland.

After finishing second in the group behind Germany, Northern Ireland will look to pull off an upset against the Swiss to reach Russia. Michael O'Neill's side has not reached the World Cup since 1986.

Switzerland also finished second in its group, finishing with nine wins in 10 games. However, the Swiss lost the top spot to Portugal on goal difference. A victory on the road would go a long way toward securing a place in Russia for Switzerland.
