AC Milan could soon see super agent Mino Raiola move client Gianluigi Donnarumma away from the club as he looks for a better stage for the teenage superstar to continue his development.

Donnarumma appeared to be nearing the end of his short Milan career during summer when the club were forced to announce that the young goalkeeper would not be signing a new contract.

Despite the eventual U-turn - Donnarumma later signed a new long-term contract until 2021 - Raiola was thought to be behind the initial decision as a result of skepticism in Milan's 'project'.

Now, according to CalcioMercato, that skepticism still persists and the man who also famously represents the likes of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku, has been tipped to seek a possible transfer for Donnarumma at some point in the coming years.

The report claims that Paris Saint-Germain could make an approach at the end of the season.

Milan spent heavily on new players in the summer in an attempt to bridge what had been a rapidly growing gap between themselves and the top Serie A clubs. But after a mixed start to the season, the Rossoneri are already playing serious catch up.

They trail the top four and Champions League places by as much as 11 points just 13 games into the season, while they are currently seven points off even a Europa League place.

Donnarumma made his Milan debut at the tender age of 16 in 2015 and quickly established himself as number despite being so young.

He later became Italy's youngest ever goalkeeper and has been tipped to now fill the gloves of retiring national team legend Gianluigi Buffon.
