Bayern Munich have reportedly tied 21-year-old winger Kingsley Coman down to a new long-term contract, extending his stay at the club until at least 2023.

No official confirmation has yet come from Bayern, but Bild claims the improved deal has already been sorted, with the aim of warding off foreign suitors.

Coman completed a permanent move to Bayern only six short months ago following the end of a successful two-year loan from Juventus.

A regular so far in 2017/18, the youngster has already played over 80 times for the club overall and is just two goals shy of matching his best scoring campaign to date (6 in 2015/16) in half a season.

Bild highlights the path his career is now destined to take, with veteran wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, aged 33 and 34 respectively, nearing the end of their careers.

Both players are due to be out of contract at the end of the season, although also points out that short-term renewal talks with each are expected to begin in the spring.
