Just days after a match-fixing investigation report by the BBC/Buzzfeed News was released on the eve of the 2016 Australian Open in Melbourne, ATP chairman Chris Kermode sits down with Wertheim to address the evidence of possible match-fixing in the sport. Kermode addresses allegations that tennis' governing bodies have suppressed the evidence and talks about the effectiveness of the Tennis Integrity Unit. He also discusses whether or not he believes corruption is widespread in the sport and if there is a chance of threats or violence against players because of the criminal characteristic of the match-fixing groups. Kermode talks about discusses the amount of media attention the scandal has received at the Australian Open, the next steps in the investigation and more.
