The Governors are 19-14 overall this season and finished 10-6 against conference opponents as the No. 4 team in the conference. They took down North Florida in the quarterfinals 101-98 in overtime on the back of 35 points from leading scorer DeMarcus Sharp shooing 14-for-22.
They moved on to a semifinal matchup with North Alabama where they won by six points without overtime. Dezi Jones led the team in that win with 34 points on 13-of-23 shooting.
