Today has a full day of action in the ACC Tournament Championships with the semifinals and finals of all 10 weight classes on the schedule. The top two seeds in all weight classes received a bye into the semifinals, setting the stage for the best wrestlers in the conference to showcase why they are the top two seeds. This season NC State has been one of the best teams in the country and features a wrestler in all 10 weight classes to start the semifinals. They could have a huge day on the mat with five top-seeded wrestlers and three second-seeded wrestlers in the tournament.

Those five top seeds include Jakob Camacho (125 pounds), Kai Orine (133 pounds), Derek Fields (165 pounds), Trent Hidlay (197 pounds) and Owen Trephan (285 pounds) all look to advance to the championship matches today.
The other top seeds in action today in the tournament include three other schools combined. Virginia Tech features three of them in Caleb Henson (149 pounds), Mekhi Lewis (174 pounds) and Thomas Stewart Jr. (184 pounds).
Cole Matthews (141 pounds) from Pittsburgh and Sonny Santiago (157 pounds) from North Carolina are the other two top seeds in their weight classes heading into the semifinals of the ACC Tournament Championships. All of those top seeds will look to enforce their will and skill today to avoid being sent home early with an upset to a lower seed.
