The Marlins are coming off a big win of their own beating the Houston Astros 5-4. The Marlins will be going for their third straight win today. Miami was leading for most of the game until Houston tied it up with a three-run eighth. Minor league prospect Victor Mesa Jr. walked off the game with a homer. Lefty Daniel Castano will go for Miami today. He's been sharp so far this spring with a 1.17 ERA in three games with eight strikeouts.

St. Louis will also go for its third straight win today which included a 16-2 drubbing on the road of the Marlins on Friday. The Cardinals most recently beat the New York Mets 8-7 on Sunday. New York scored five in the first inning but St. Louis wasn't deterred. The Cardinals kept chipping away and broke threw scoring four runs in the eighth that held up to be the game-winner. Jake Woodford gets the start for the Cardinals today. The righty is 1-0 this spring with a 2.84 ERA in 12.2 innings and 11 strikeouts.
