Austrian skier Schneeberger out with knee injury
VIENNA (AP) The Austrian ski federation says Rosina Schneeberger will be out for at least six months after undergoing knee surgery following a crash in Saturday's World Cup slalom.
The federation says Schneeberger tore ligaments and a meniscus in her left knee during a fall in the final run of the event in Finland, which was won by Tina Maze of Slovenia.
The 20-year-old Schneeberger is Austria's national super-G champion and won bronze in giant slalom and super-G at the junior world championships last season.
