Norwegians win in cross-country World Cup event

LILLEHAMMER, Norway (AP) Pal Goldberg of Norway won the men's sprint Friday at a World Cup cross-country skiing event.

Finn Haagen Krogh, also a Norwegian, led for most of the race but was overtaken by Golberg. Alexey Petukhov was second and Krogh finished third.

Norway had success in the women's sprint with Marit Bjorgen finishing ahead of teammates Celine Brun-Lie and Heidi Weng.
