PITTSBURGH (AP) Pro wrestler and former Olympian Kurt Angle's brother has been ordered to stand trial on charges he killed his wife.

Sixty-two-year-old David Angle waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday on criminal homicide and other charges. His brother was in Pittsburgh City Court, and wiped away tears and hugged the family of his slain sister-in-law.

Allegheny County homicide detectives say David Angle was arguing with 57-year-old Donna Angle about vodka when she tried to kick him in their Dormont home on Sept. 20. They say David Angle dragged her off a couch, stepped on her chest and pulled her arms before she became unconscious. He called 911 when he couldn't revive her.

David Angle remains jailed. His attorney, William Difenderfer, says he will wait for trial to present a defense.
