Norway dominates cross-country World Cup relays

LILLEHAMMER, Norway (AP) Norway showed off its cross-country skiing dominance by having the top three teams in a men's World Cup relay on Sunday and winning the women's race by nearly two minutes.

Petter Northug anchored Norway 1 to the victory in 1 hour, 13 minutes, 25.7 seconds, beating Finn Haagen Krogh of Norway 3 by 2.8 seconds. Norway 2 was second, making it the first time the same country swept the podium of a World Cup relay.

In the women's race, Heidi Weng had a big lead going out on the anchor leg and finished 1:59.1 ahead of Finland's Anne Kylloenen. The United States team of Rosie Brennan, Sadie Bjornsen, Elizabeth Stephen and Jessica Diggins was third.
