Germany's Tina Hermann wins 2nd straight skeleton race

KOENIGSSEE, Germany (AP) Tina Hermann won her second straight World Cup skeleton race on Friday and led a 1-2 finish for Germany.

Hermann gained her first career victory last weekend and broke the course record in both runs Friday on her home track to win by a massive 1 minute, 13 seconds over teammate Jacqueline Loelling. Hermann clocked a combined time of 1:43.04. Marina Gilardoni of Switzerland was 1:56 behind in third.

After three of eight races, Hermann leads overall World Cup standings with 660 points. Loelling is second with 620 points, ahead of Laura Deas of Britain, who has 561 after finishing 10th.
