MINSK, Belarus (AP) U.S. skier Ashley Caldwell clinched her first overall title in the aerials skiing World Cup at the final round in Belarus.

Caldwell won with a score of 103.27 points from a back full-full-full jump, ensuring she finished top of the overall standings for the season ahead of Australia's Danielle Scott, who came in second Saturday with 96.93.

Alexandra Ramanovskaya of Belarus was third at 80.33.

Alina Gridneva of Russia had an outside chance of winning the title but finished seventh Saturday.

Oleksandr Abramenko of Ukraine won his first men's World Cup title after finishing fifth Saturday. His chances were helped because his closest rival going into Saturday's competition, China's Qi Guangpu, did not travel to the competition.

There was more U.S. success as Christopher Lillis won a World Cup round for the first time with a score of 111.78, ahead of Maxim Gustik of Belarus with 109.50 and Russia's Ilya Burov at 104.70.

The Minsk competition was not originally scheduled as the final round but next week's event in Spain was canceled due to warm temperatures.
