Gosepa, Anonia lead Caribbean to 2-1 win over Japan in LLWS

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Va. (AP) Donovan Antonia hit a solo home run, Jadon Gosepa allowed one earned run and struck out seven over five innings and Curacao beat Japan 2-1 in the Little League World Series on Saturday.

Nair Jamanika drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the fifth inning to give Curacao, a team from Willemstad, a 2-1 lead and Gedionne Marlin threw a perfect sixth inning for the save.

So Hirao's solo shot in the top of the fourth put Japan, from Tokyo, up 1-0.

Anotonia's homer in the bottom of the inning tied it.

Pinch-hitters Egory Manuela and Jakey Josepha hit back-to-back singles, and then Jurrangelo Cijntje was hit by a pitch to load the bases for Curacao in the bottom of the fifth.

Sosuke Igawa gave up three hits and two earned runs in 4.1 innings for Japan.
