OCEANSIDE, Calif. (AP) Three-time world champion Carissa Moore of Oahu, Hawaii, second-ranked Courtney Conlogue of Santa Ana and defending contest champion Coco Ho of Oahu head the field for the 10th anniversary edition of the World Surf League 6-Star Paul Mitchell Neon Supergirl Pro on Friday through Sunday at the Oceanside Pier.

More than 120 of the world's top pros will make this the largest women's surf contest in the world and the lone women's WSL qualifying event scheduled in the U.S. for the 2017 season.

Ho needs critical points this weekend to solidify her standing for next year's Women's Championship Tour. She has won the Oceanside contest three times, including the inaugural competition. She's looking to become the first surfer to win in back-to-back years here.
