Bret Hart and the Hart family are professional wresting royalty and continue to influence the sport today

Bret 'The Hitman' Hart is one of the most famous names in all of professional wrestling. 

His career effectively ended after a concussion he suffered at Starrcade in 1999, and while the wrestling world has never seen anyone quite like Bret again, his technique and style live on in the work of today’s stars. SI’s Justin Barrasso spoke with a number of wrestlers from a variety of different companies and the one constant in all of their careers was the way Bret Hart influenced their work. Why has Bret’s work had such a lasting impact over the past 20 years?
