Thursday's A.M. Hot Clicks
Warriors guard Stephen Curry lit up the Knicks for 54 points (he drained 11 of 13 three-pointers) in a losing effort at Madison Square Garden last night. For Hot Clicks' purposes, though, we give a nod of the cap to Curry not for the explosive effort, but for staring down teammate Draymond Green (as you can see above) and then blowing right past him so he could dance.
Usually when we use that headline, we bring you an announcer going wild over a great play or some last-second heroics. Wizards play-by-play announcer Steve Buckhantz thought that's what happened at the end last night's Detroit-Washington case, but he was mistaken. Dagger.
UPDATE, 10:58 a.m.: The Pistons broadcast team was fooled as well by the shot.
Check out the spectacular catch made by North Carolina State center fielder Brett Williams on Wednesday.
It's been too long since British model Lauren Budd has been in Hot Clicks, so I'm happy to report that she is today's LLOD.
A California high school sophomore went undercover (actually, she hid in a locker) to catch the person who was stealing money from student's backpacks. Turns out it was a gym teacher who had sticky fingers.
Just an FYI for you guys: I'm taking tomorrow off and we will have two new Hot Clicks writers for you. Chris Sesno (@cwsesno) is going to handle Friday's A.M. Hot Clicks and Tom Mantzouranis (@themantz) is going to take care of P.M. Hot Clicks. They're both very fine gentleman (although Sesno never watched The Sopranos when it was on and Mantz hates Chinese food, but nobody is perfect) and you will be left in excellent hands. So be nice to them and send them link submissions via Twitter.
Raptors forward Mickael Pietrus was in a videobombing mood last night.
I'll never be able to listen to Tiny Dancer the same way ever again.
