Former NFL players Scott Mitchell, Damien Woody will appear on "The Biggest Loser"

Former Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens QB Scott Mitchell will appear on the upcoming season of NBC's "The Biggest Loser" after gaining 120 pounds since his playing days.

Former NFL quarterback Scott Mitchell will be appearing on NBC's weight loss competition show "The Biggest Loser" after gaining over 120 pounds since his time in the league ended.

Mitchell now weighs 366 pounds and says he is hoping to lose the weight on the show so he can be healthier for his family which includes his five children.

Former New England Patriots offensive lineman Damien Woody will also appear on the show, trying to shed some of his 388 pound frame.

The upcoming season of the show focuses on former athletes and is being branded as "The Biggest Loser: Glory Days." Other contestants include former Wimbledon singles runner up and three-time mixed-doubles major winner Zina Garrison, as well as ex-WNBA player Vanessa Hayden.
