Mount Saint Joseph University basketball player Lauren Hill is getting praise from another famous Ohio hoops star, LeBron James.
The four-time NBA MVP posted a photo of Hill making a layup to open the team's season along with a caption about how he had been inspired by her drive to continue playing despite being in the final stages of a battle with terminal cancer.
Hill also received a visible show of support over the weekend from Devon Still, whose daughter Leah is currently fighting cancer. Still wrote the phrase "LaurenStrong" on the eye black he wore onto the field for the Bengals win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
I got the green light from baby girl to wear #LaurenStrong instead of #LeahStrong today after telling her Lauren's story. I wish I could be there today to cheer you on with the thousands of fans but I have some business to handle in the jungle today! I just want to say how proud I am of you the way you haven't let cancer stop you from living out your dream of playing bball at the collegiate level. I know I speak for the whole country, especially the cancer community, when I say your are the true definition of strength, courage and determination. You are a inspiration to all and we all love you and are rooting for you. I will wear your name with pride today! Good luck and I know you will ball out! Make sure coach B has that Mountain Dew on tuck for you haha #LaurenStrong #NeverGiveUp #PlayFor22

Still had previously stopped by a Mount Saint Joseph practice and exchanged jerseys with Hill.
Doctors have told Hill that the she will likely not survive past December, so Mount Saint Joseph's successfully petitioned the NCAA to allow its first game to be moved up on the calendar so that Lauren could play "one last game."
