The New York Jets entered Sunday with a 1-8 record and having not won since a Sept. 7 victory over the winless Oakland Raiders, so fans of the 6-3 Pittsburgh Steelers probably weren't overly concerned heading into their Week 10 matchup in New Jersey.
When the Jets scored 17 points in the first quarter and had a 20-3 lead heading into the fourth, Pittsburgh fans knew there must be something fishy going on.
The logical answer is that Justin Bieber showed up at the Steelers' Bible study on Saturday night, and must be the reason for the team's woes. Thus the #BlameBieber trend was born.
How else do you explain the Steelers missing a 23-yard field goal and Ben Roethlisberger throwing two interceptions and one (late) touchdown a week after throwing six touchdowns and no interceptions against the Ravens?
The Cavaliers' slow start all makes sense now.
