Braves send rookies to Wrigley Starbucks in full uniform
Monday August 24th, 2015

MLB rookies are learning to fear trips to Wrigley Field, as there appears to be a new tradition of sending the first-year players to the Starbucks across the street from the Friendly Confines while in full uniform.

Following the lead of the Dodgers and Cardinals, the Braves sent rookies to the coffee chain to pick up drinks for the rest of the team, resulting in some very surprised Cubs fans on Sunday.

The caffeinated pick-me-up did not do much to help Atlanta on Sunday, as the Braves fell to the Cubs 9–3.
