Apparently in need of a boost before Tuesday’s 1:20 p.m. ET first pitch at Wrigley Field, the St. Louis Cardinals hit up a Starbucks around the block—in full uniform.

Toting orders from the clubhouse, the Cardinals patiently waited in line a few hours before the game. That’s a pretty strong move one day after St. Louis won the series opener 6–0, scoring four runs in the ninth inning off Chicago’s bullpen.

Might as well get the Starbucks in now, too: the Seattle coffee giant is about to raise prices again, by about 10 cents for a brewed coffee and between a nickel and 20 cents for most other drinks.

The Los Angeles Dodgers also did the same with their rookies a few weeks ago. How very unlike the Cardinals to steal something from another team.
