Knife Fight!

Mustard Minute took a road trip to Williamsburg to visit Chef Ilan Hall on the set of Esquire Network's Knife Fight. Ilan gave Tiffany a lesson on how to cook Banh Mi Poutine (fancy term for french fries) with hoison pork and gravy. It was delicious—I'd go so far as to say the best fries I've ever eaten—and everyone should watch the show (it airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Esquire Network). Or if you're in Williamsburg, visit Ilan at The Gorbals in Brooklyn (and tell him you saw the video on SI.com).

There has to be More to this Story

I'm always amazed at how much (and how little) coverage some stories receive compared to others. Tom Brady is alleged to have likely been aware of footballs being deflated two pounds per square inch and ESPN spends a summer on it. Hawks guard Thabo Sefolosha misses the playoffs after getting his foot broken by a NYC cop and you barely hear a peep. Imagine if the roles had been reversed and the NYPD had broken Brady's foot—think you'd hear more about that? With that in mind, I'm dying to know what happened with Gerald Green. The Heat guard was hospitalized last week after he was spotted "acting strangely in the lobby of a condo—screaming at the top of his lungs—and that it took several people, including emergency personnel, to get him on a stretcher and into an ambulance." Miami suspended him two games Tuesday for "conduct detrimental to the team" and we'll likely never find out what really happened. But a 29-year-old man doesn't just scream at the top of his lungs in public without a good reason. I'm curious what it was.

Lovely Lady of the Day

Hot Clicks favorite Daniela Lopez visited the SI office for a 2016 Swimsuit Casting and greeted me with a big hug for all the times I've made her LLOD. Needless to say, it is the highlight of my week and I really hope she lands a spot in the issue (click here for full-size gallery).

Steve Kerr wrote a random woman who is going through the same kind of back surgery as he is ...Prediction: Byron Scott will not be coaching the Lakers in three months ...
