The Miami Heat have suspended forward Gerald Green two games for “conduct detrimental to the team,” the team announced. He will begin his suspension immediately and can return on Friday.

Green was taken to the hospital last Wednesday and discharged on Saturday. No further details were provided as to why.

The Miami Herald reported that Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue requested assistance at a condo near the Heat’s arena due to a “combative patient.” According to the 911 call recording, Green was bleeding and passed out.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said last Thursday “the only comment we’ll make other than what we made yesterday is that we’re grateful that he’s safe and healthy right now. Our thoughts are with him and his family.”

Green has not played since Miami’s win over the Rockets on Nov. 1.

The Heat host the Lakers at 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
