Ronda Rousey looks to Shakespeare quotes for solace

Ronda Rousey is still smarting from her loss to Holly Holm as evidenced by a quote from Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night that she recently posted to her Instagram.

After riding very high for the majority of 2015, logging two wins in a combined 48 seconds, Ronda Rousey saw her year end on a sour note as she lost her bantamweight championship to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November.

Following some time out of the spotlight, Rousey has upped her public presence in the last few weeks, but that does not mean she is not still smarting from the loss, as evidenced by a quote from Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night she recently posted to her Instagram.

Rousey, who will host Saturday Night Live on Jan. 23 and who is expected to get a rematch with Holm in her next fight, will likely be adored again soon, probably more so than the character who speaks the line Sir Andrew Aguecheek, who is a dumb, rich jerk in the play.
