Watch: Lakers fan makes $95,000 with half-court shot

Monday January 4th, 2016

The Lakers defeated the Suns 97–77 on Sunday and while a victory is becoming exceedingly rare, neither the final score, nor Jordan Clarkson’s emphatic dunk were the highlights of the game.

That honor goes to Los Angeles fan David Moya, who walked out of the Staples Center $95,000 richer, thanks to hitting a half-court shot.

Moya said he would be using a portion of the winnings to purchase a ticket for Kobe Bryant’s final home game later this year, which are going for between $540 and $9,734 on the team’s official TicketExchange website.
