Pistons create Obama ‘Jumpman’ remix to campaign for Drummond

There have been several clever All-Star campaigns launched so far this season, but none come close to the Pistons’.

There have been several clever All-Star campaigns launched so far this season; Heat center Hassan Whiteside made business cards to hand out to Miami residents, Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony took advantage of a big game from one of his teammates and LeBron James voted for his basketball friends, who in turn reciprocated.

None come even close to what the Detroit Pistons just did for Andre Drummond.

On Tuesday, the team tweeted out a 42-second remix of Drake and Future’s hit ‘Jumpman,’ with lyrics rapped by a super-cut President Barack Obama.

Words like ‘country’ and ‘answers’ were surely easy to find, but the work they did to discover Obama saying ‘Ginobili’ is truly remarkable. Drummond’s highlights are immaculately placed, too.

Hopefully this inspires another team to impossibly launch an even better campaign.
