Demaryius Thomas is discouraging Jimmy Butler’s NFL dreams

Jimmy Butler still thinks he could make it in the NFL, but he is considering a move from WR to QB.

During the Olympics, Jimmy Butler joked that he would be a better receiver than NFL stars Demaryius Thomas and Antonio Brown, which prompted teammate Kevin Durant to call him “an idiot,” and led to a Photoshop back and forth with Brown.

Now Butler and Thomas are teasing one another, as the Broncos wideout revealed the Bulls guard is considering a change of position to quarterback.

Thomas is pretty ruthless in his crushing of Butler’s dream of playing on Sundays, but with a few months of hard work by Butler, it seems like the Olympic gold medalist would be able to get on roughly the same level as Trevor Siemian.
