Before he was the NBA MVP and the guy redefining the physics of basketball, Stephen Curry was a sharpshooting two guard for Davidson.

Curry burst on the scene eight years ago this week, lighting up opposing defenses to lead No. 10 seed Davidson to an unlikely Elite Eight appearance. He dropped 40 on Gonzaga, then 30 on Georgetown, 33 on Wisconsin and 25 in the Wildcats’ loss to eventual champion Kansas. That’s 44.7% of his team’s points.

But while Curry made plenty of jaw-dropping plays, he also missed plenty of shots. Watch the clips below and see if you can tell whether the shot went in. After you answer, you’ll be able to see the whole play.
