Jose Contreras has reached agreement on a contract with the Philadelphia Phillies, sources confirm. The deal is believed to be for just over $1 million.

Contreras, 38, went 6-13 with a 4.92 ERA for the White Sox and Rockies in 2009, including 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA after being dealt to Colorado on August 31, where he helped pitch the Rockies to a postseason berth.
