Brewers add Hairston to infield

The Brewers acquired utility man Jerry Hairston Jr. from the Nationals for minor-league outfielder Erik Komatsu.

Hairston will help shore up the Brewers' hole at second base with Rickie Weeks on the disabled list and Craig Counsell mired in an 0-for-41 slump.
