Tigers call up Turner, add Fister

The Tigers have acquired Mariners starter Doug Fister and called up 2009 first-round pick Jacob Turner to start Saturday's game against the Angels, his major-league debut.

Turner, 20, was drafted No. 9 overall, and had a 3-5 record with a 3.48 ERA in 17 starts for Double-A Erie so far this season.

Turner may go back down to the minors after his start now that the Tigers have acquired Fister.
