The Washington Nationals have placed catcher Wilson Ramos on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring.

Ramos hurt himself Saturday running out a ground ball in a game against Atlanta. He's batting .300 with two homers and three RBIs in six games.

To fill his space, the Nationals recalled catcher Jhonatan Solano from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.

In 12 games with Washington last season, Solano hit .314 with three doubles, two home runs and six RBIs. The 27-year-old had three hits and a walk in five games with Syracuse this season.
