Report: Angels weigh pitching options to replace Garrett Richards

The Los Angeles Angels are looking for possible replacements for injured pitcher Garrett Richards, reports CBSSports.com’s Jon Heyman.

According to the report, the Angels are looking inside and outside of the organization for pitching help. Some names that have surfaced include Bartolo Colon of the New York Mets, Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Trevor Cahill, Scott Feldman of the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies veteran A.J. Burnett.

Richards will miss up to nine months with a torn patellar tendon in his left knee, but could be ready for spring training. He was 13-4 with a 2.61 ERA this season.
