San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Morse said it is still possible that he will be ready to play against the Washington Nationals in the National League Division Series, which starts Friday.

Morse has not played since Sept. 19 because of a strained left oblique and was left off the roster for San Francisco’s wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Giants won the game 8-0

"Well, I think, if this thing goes on, he will be activated at some point," Giants manager Bochy said, according to MLB

The Giants have until Friday morning to finalize its Division Series roster against the Nationals.

Morse hit .279 with 16 home runs and 61 RBI in 131 regular season games in his first season with San Francisco.
