The off-season hot stove is warming up with trade rumors and free agency decisions coming down the pipeline.

The rumor mill has picked back up after a brief lull when the passage of a new collective bargaining agreement was in question, but now that the new CBA is in place, free-agent dealings have commenced.

• Reliever Brad Ziegler has reached an agreement with the Marlins on a two-year deal worth $16 million plus incentives. The agreement will be finalized after Ziegler takes a physical. The Marlins missed out on Aroldis Chapman who re-joined the Yankees after half a season with the World Series-winning Cubs and Kenley Jansen opted to re-sign withe the Dodgers. The Yankees and Mets had interest in Ziegler before talks cooled after the Winter Meetings. Ziegler is coming off a season in which he pitched 68 innings and earned 22 saves while posting a 2.05 ERA. • Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria is considering selling the team. It is still undetermined what the market would be for the franchise. (Barry Jackson, Miami Herald)

• The Dodgers may be in talks with the Twins regarding a trade for second baseman Brian Dozier. The Dodgers may be willing to part ways with pitching prospect Jose De Leon in order to make it happen. (Jeff Passan, Yahoo Sports)

• Free-agent reliever JunichiTazawa and the Miami Marlins have agreed on a two-year, $12 million deal. (Ken Rosenthal, Fox Sports)

• The Philadelphia Phillies and outfielder Odubel Herrera have agreed on a five-year contract. (Phillies)

• The Oakland Athletics are the latest team to consider run at free-agent Edwin Encarnacion. (Jon Heyman, FanRag Sports)
