Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports Expands to MLB Representation

Klutch Sports Group, the sports agency founded by Rich Paul, is expanding its client base of prominent athletes into the baseball world.

The management group announced Wednesday it has acquired the Rep 1 Baseball agency, which represents MLB players including Red Sox slugger Rafael DeversMets outfielder Starling MarteBrewers pitcher Devin Williams and Guardians infielder Andres Gimenez.

That developing baseball client base now joins Klutch’s roster of athletes in the NBA and NFL. But more MLB players–especially younger talent–may show interest in signing with the agency that represents sports superstars such as LeBron James.

Earlier this year, Klutch expanded its representation to NFL talent by acquiring ELITE Athlete Management. Along with Rep1’s talent roster, Klutch is also adding the agency’s CEO, Chris Koras. He will lead its new baseball division.
