The Pelicans unveiled their home court this weekend at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Pictures posted to the team site show a new center court and pale lines resembling the logo that start near the baseline of each side of the court and appear as a Pelican when viewed in the stands from behind the basket.

The name change to the Pelicans took effect after the 2012-13 season. The Hornets name was then transferred to Charlotte and replaced the Bobcats in May 2014.

New Orleans begins its preseason on Saturday with a game vs. the Heat. Their regular season begins Oct. 28 on the new court with a game against the Magic.
