Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons is expected to return to the lineup Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing two games with an illness, according to team insider Earl K. Sneed.
Parsons missed Friday night's road game against the Miami Heat due to a case of the stomach flu. The Mavericks defeated the Heat 93-72. The 26-year-old also sat out Saturday's game against the Orlando Magic, a 108-93 victory.
Parsons had been replaced in the lineup by Richard Jefferson.
In 46 games this season, Parsons has averaged 15.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 32.9 minutes per game.
The Mavericks are 32-17 this season and currently the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference.
