Russell Westbrook hit his head on the backboard when he threw down an alley-oop in the third quarter of the All-Star Game on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.

With less than three minutes remaining in the third quarter, Westbrook sprinted toward the lane from the left wing and soared to catch a lob from Chris Paul.

The Oklahoma City Thunder guard grabbed the ball with his right hand. Just before he flushed the ball through the hoop, Westbrook made contact with the backboard.
