Chicago Bulls rookie forward Nikola Mirotic ended the third quarter of Game 5 with a buzzer beater shot from beyond half-court.

Mirotic's shot cut the Cleveland Cavaliers' lead to 80–71 heading into the fourth quarter. Mike Dunleavy assisted on the play.

The Cavaliers went on to win the game 106-101 behind 38 points from forward LeBron James. Cleveland now leads the series 3–2.

Mirotic is averaging 5.1 points and 3.0 rebounds in the playoffs after averaging 10.2 points and 4.9 rebounds in the regular season.
