Report: Rockets trade Joel Anthony to the Sixers

The Rockets have traded Joel Anthony for a second-round draft pick.

The Houston Rockets have traded Joel Anthony to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Anthony is headed to Philadelphia via the Rockets, who acquired the big man in an earlier deal with the Pistons that included power forward Donatas Motiejunas and small forward Marcus Thornton.

International draft rights players including Chukwudiebere Maduabum are also involved in the deal, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicleand Derek Bodner of Philadelphia Magazine.

Philadelphia will receive a future second-round pick to take on Anthony and his contract, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Anthony is averaging 1.2 rebounds and 0.7 points in 13 games on the year.
